Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs)

IDVAs specialise in supporting those who are at high risk from domestic abuse by providing intensive support to increase safety and advise on the options available. IDVAs work with individuals to empower them and also work on the survivor's behalf as advocates with organisations such as the Police, CPS, the Courts, Probation and other agencies.

Dudley Victim Support

We provide practical and emotional support to all victims of crime, their families or anyone else affected by the crime. We assist with claims for Criminal Injuries Compensation (subject to eligibility). Our services are free and confidential and provided both to children and adults regardless of whether the crime has been reported to the police.

Summit House Support

At Summit House we provide a safe environment for people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. We have a wide range of people who use our services. Our services are available to anyone who lives in Dudley or Sandwell. All our work is governed by a rigorous equal opportunities policy and confidentiality policy.

CHADD Housing Services LTD

The Churches Housing Association of Dudley & District – better known as CHADD is a small charitable Housing Association providing a range of housing options for people who need support to enable them to live in the community. CHADD is a small and highly specialist organisation that provides accommodation and services for:

• Young people and ex offenders
• Victims of domestic abuse
• Older people
• People with mental ill health
• People with learning disabilities

CHADD was formed in 1979 by a group of Christian volunteers under the leadership of the Bishop of Dudley to meet special areas of housing need, which had been identified in the Borough.
