Caldmore Area Housing Association
Provides safe, secure, short-term accommodation for up to 70 women and their children experiencing the effects of domestic violence, or who are living in fear of violence in their home may apply for residency at Aven House. All accommodation is offered on a four week licence agreement, following referral via support agencies, through our helpline or via personal application. There is no specific age range or limit for the clientele we serve.

Stepping Stones
We offer one-to-one sessions with a trained volunteer, a 7 days-a-week 24-hour helpline, and group meetings on Mondays 10am - 1pm. A trained worker can tend to your children giving you the opportunity to talk to a volunteer privately. We arrange outings in the school holidays and can make referrals and provide information about any agencies you feel you may need to contact.
