We provide practical and emotional support to all victims of crime, their families or anyone else affected by the crime. We assist with claims for Criminal Injuries Compensation (subject to eligibility). Our services are free and confidential and provided both to children and adults regardless of whether the crime has been reported to the police.

Age Concern

We aim to improve the lives of older people in Walsall. Services include information and advice centre, trading department, active aging, advocacy, befriending, dementia care support, community involvement, over 50’s forum, handyman/ gardening service.

Caldmore Area Housing Association

Provides safe, secure, short-term accommodation for up to 70 women and their children experiencing the effects of domestic violence, or who are living in fear of violence in their home may apply for residency at Aven House. All accommodation is offered on a four week licence agreement, following referral via support agencies, through our helpline or via personal application. There is no specific age range or limit for the clientele we serve.

Crisis Point

We are specialists in Rape & Sexual Abuse counselling and psychotherapy. We also offer the services of an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor.

Walsall Street Teams

Walsall Street Teams is a confidential service for young people about young people. Our aim is to be an agent of change for young people in vulnerable and risky situations.

SAFE Project

The SAFE Project seeks to promote the health and well-being of women who have worked, are working or are at risk of becoming involved in the commercial sex industry. To reduce the harm associated with sex work and to empower women to make positive choices.

Stepping Stones

We offer one-to-one sessions with a trained volunteer, a 7 days-a-week 24-hour helpline, and group meetings on Mondays 10am - 1pm. A trained worker can tend to your children giving you the opportunity to talk to a volunteer privately. We arrange outings in the school holidays and can make referrals and provide information about any agencies you feel you may need to contact.

Saya – Multi-lingual

We offer support, information and advice to women who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence and we have a 24hr helpline.

Walsall Housing Group is a registered social landlord and one of the largest in Walsall with approx. 20,000 properties. We have specialist teams set up to provide the full management functions of housing. We have Specialist Community engagement Team –is made of 4 teams
